Flex & Reflect Yoga with Lissette Cordova
Flex & Reflect Yoga is a practice that invites me to slow down, turn inward, and fully experience the balance between effort and ease. In this moment, held upside down in stillness, I am reminded that yoga is not only about movement—it is about awareness, trust, and presence. The image reflects a space where strength meets softness, and where reflection becomes just as important as action.
This practice blends dynamic movement with intentional pauses, allowing the body to build stability while the mind learns to let go. Inversions, like the one shown here, encourage a shift in perspective. They challenge fear, improve focus, and ask for complete engagement with the breath. Each pose becomes a conversation between grounding and lifting, effort and surrender.
Flex & Reflect Yoga is not about achieving the perfect shape. It is about honoring where you are and meeting yourself honestly on the mat. Some days the body feels strong and steady; other days it asks for patience and compassion. Both are welcome. Through mindful sequencing, controlled strength, and moments of stillness, the practice creates space for growth—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I created this experience to support balance in everyday life. Just as we root down before rising up, we learn to stay centered through calm and challenge alike. Reflection brings clarity, and flexibility—both in body and mind—opens the door to resilience.
